Company sponsorship: In 2009/2010 we were awarded with an international grant of £15,000 by the Accounting and Advisory firm Mazars LLP for our school project in Konya. We are very grateful for this generous support. If you represent a company that wants to help us financially, do please get in contact with us. • Collecting donations via eBay: Hope for Konya is now registered with Mission Fish, a charity that enables us to collect donations through eBay. Sellers at eBay UK can now ask buyers to donate to Hope for Konya . Click link to ebay.
• Fundraising events: Highlights in 2010 are our Charity Dinner, sponsored Marathons in London and the annual Summer party at Kish Kindergarten. Last year Kish raised more than £2100 for us.
• Private sponsorship: We have found private sponsors for ten orphaned children in Konya who could not afford the fees at secondary school. We also get donations from supporters, who collect money from friends and family at birthday parties. In 2009 participants at a first communion service in Richmond decided to give the entire collect (£600) to Hope for Konya.
